Centerpiece in Murano glass
During the torrid days of summer, to escape from the deadly heat and the traffic jams that characterize the city in this period, the Venetians give themselves a pleasant break from the Venetian heat. The ideal place for a nice bath or a relaxing walk at sunset, especially after a beautiful sunny day is the natural beaches of Alberoni.
This is a quiet place, a real refuge from the tourist chaos that gives the atmosphere of a Venetian village of olden days. It seems to have returned a bit ‘back in time and at the same time to live with more relax and serenity, typical of island life. The vast pine wood, a protected oasis, which runs along the beach and ends right on the high dunes of a beautiful area, make this typical and curious place an unmissable point of the island.
Inspired by the waves of the sea water our glass masters dedicate the centerpiece to the sea and to the beaches of the Alberoni.
The procedure to create this Murano glass centerpiece is very complex and laborious. The first step is to compose the sequence of colors, while the second one is to create the shape. This is realized with the glass fusing technique using opaque and transparent Murano glass. The glass processing technique is performed entirely by hand. It is an elegant object that fits well with any modern interior.
