After the success of last year, from July 24 to August 1, the drive-in cinema on boat returns to Venice at the Arsenale, with a special dedication to the city and its 1600 “ab urbe condita” (anniversary since the City was founded). “Cinema Barch-In” renews its collaboration with Campari, symbol of the Italian aperitif that over the years has forged an increasingly indissoluble bond with the world of cinema.
“Cinema Barch-In” is the cultural proposal to offer the lagoon city a safe meeting place where to share cinema, art and entertainment. For six evenings, in the picturesque Arsenale Basin, the ancient shipyard of the Serenissima, thanks to the support of the Municipality of Venice, the company Vela and the Navy, the boats of the spectators will be able to moor to attend screenings of films and documentaries.
“Cinema Barch-In” is a free event, with the possibility to contribute with a free offer to support the initiative. Donors will receive a nice gadget. The program of screenings has as its protagonist Venice and will be aimed at celebrating its 1600 years. Shorts presentation videos will be shown alongside the feature films.
As per Covid regulations, registration of one’s presence and reservation of the berth is mandatory for all participants.
