“Ramona” and “Violetta and Alfredo” are productions by legendary Georgian writer, puppeteer and sculptor Rezo Gabriadze, who for forty years has been telling stories to children and adults, managing to evade Soviet censorship through the use of puppets.
Ramona is a romantic and tragic love story between two steam engines of the past set in the Soviet Union after the war. Text and direction are by Rezo Gabriadze, music by Ellen Japaridze, animators Tamar Amirajibi, Irakli Sharashidze, Badri Gvazava, Anna Nijaradze, Vladimir Meltser, Nino Sajaia.
In Violetta and Alfredo the famous adventure of the protagonists of “La Traviata” moves to the Tbilisi of the 90s. The story is conceived and drawn by Rezo Gabriadze, directed by Leo Gabriadze.
Two stories of distant loves in which the spectator remains with bated breath waiting to discover what will happen. The shows are in original language with surtitles.
