“Shardana” represents the recording debut of Sardinian clarinetist and composer Zoe Pia. The music of “Shardana” is a proud celebration of the artist’s cultural roots that encompasses the traditions, legends and mysteries of Sardinia.
So described by Ramses II (stele of Tanis), the Shardana or the people of the islands in between, is a mysterious island people devoted to war and perennial navigation, that no one has ever known how to fight and that presumably have lived and left more traces in Sardinia, an island rich in archaeology and mystery.
The members of the musical group are:
