Esmé Quartet takes the stage at the Sale Apollinee of Teatro La Fenice, performing works by Haydn, Korngold, and Tchaikovsky from June 19-20, 2022.
Based in Germany, the group was formed in 2016 at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne, Germany, and consists of four Korean musicians who knew each other as friends in their youth and shared common interests and passions in music, the arts, and life: violinists Wonhee Bae and Yuna Ha, violist Jiwon Kim, and cellist Ye-eun Heo.
After winning several awards, they began touring internationally performing concerts at festivals and concert halls throughout Europe. Soon the quartet will perform for the first time on tour in North America and Japan.

- Franz Joseph Haydn, Quartet in G Major Op. 77 No. 1
- Erik Wolfgang Korngold, Quartet No. 2 in E flat major op.26
- Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Quartet No. 1 in D major op. 11
