In collaboration with the “Musica con le ali” association, a concert by the Amai Quartet will be staged on Thursday, March 23, 2023 in the Sale Apollinee of La Fenice Theater.
The Amai Quartet was formed by four young students of the University of Music and performing arts Vienna (MDW). Janela Nini (violin), Chiara Siciliano (violin), Michaela Kleinecke (viola) and Anna Tonini-Bossi (cello) started to share their passion for chamber music in 2021. The quartet began its studies with Peter Matzka and is now under the wing of Florian Schötz.
The ensemble received inspirational impulses by participating in master classes with distinguished musicologists, and the various collaborations with renowned artists enriched the young quartet’s repertoire.
The Amai quartet program includes:
- Giuseppe Verdi, String Quartet in E minor
- Franz Schubert, String Quartet in D minor, D. 810 – Der Tod und das Mädchen
