Venice lights up with extraordinary live concerts this summer as Piazza San Marco, the city’s iconic open-air salon, becomes the stage for some of the world’s most captivating artists. From July 2 to 13, the heart of Venice will echo with unforgettable performances, blending music, history, and emotion in a breathtaking setting.
Thursday, July 3 – Jean-Michel Jarre, pioneer of electronic music and visionary multimedia artist, brings a spectacular concert to Piazza San Marco. Promoted by Veneto Jazz, this immersive sonic and visual experience will be one of only two Italian dates, alongside Pompeii – a true fusion of future and heritage.
Saturday, July 5 – Casanova OperaPop, the musical blockbuster by Red Canzian, returns to Italy for its 2025 tour, stopping in Venice with a grand production based on Matteo Strukul’s best-selling novel Giacomo Casanova – La sonata dei cuori infranti.
Monday, July 7 – Patti Smith, the high priestess of rock, performs in Venice for the Festival della Bellezza. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness her poetic power in a setting as timeless as her music.
Saturday, July 12 – Cavalleria Rusticana in concert form by Teatro La Fenice, with a stellar cast and orchestra, continues the beloved tradition of opera under the stars.
