La Voce Grande di Venezia (The Great Voice of Venice) returns this September 2025, transforming Venice into a stage of harmony and heritage with an unforgettable artistic-cultural-musical marathon.

With 250 voices from Venetian choral ensembles—Vocal Skyline and Big Vocal Orchestra, under the direction of Marco Toso Borella, Murano artist and creator of the initiative—the event breathes new life into the city’s most historic spaces: the Scuole Grandi, Scuole Storiche, and Scuole di Nazionalità. These ancient institutions of the Serenissima, custodians of priceless artistic legacies, open their doors for a one-of-a-kind immersive experience.

This year’s edition connects history, music, and art in a single thread of emotion and beauty. The itinerary will pass through iconic venues such as the Scuole Grandi di San Marco, San Rocco, San Teodoro, and Santa Maria del Carmelo, as well as hidden gems like the Chiesa di San Giacomo, the Scuola Dalmata di S. Giorgio e Trifone, and the Scuola Grande di Santa Maria di Valverde.

New for 2025: the event expands to include the Ateneo Veneto and the “Hidden Jewels of Venice,” newly accessible spaces managed by Fondazione Venezia Servizi. Highlights include the Scala Contarini del Bovolo, Oratorio dei Crociferi, Complesso dell’Ospedaletto, and the Chiesa delle Penitenti.

In a day where music becomes the universal language, “La Voce Grande di Venezia” offers residents and visitors alike a rare chance to explore the soul of Venice—where past and future, tradition and innovation, converge in song.
