The Breath of Water by Andrea Vettoretti at La Fenice

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, the Sale Apollinee of Teatro La Fenice will host The Breath of Water, a concert presented in collaboration with Musikrooms as part of the Festival of the Two Cities.

This new project by guitarist and composer Andrea Vettoretti invites the audience to experience water not simply as a natural element, but as a living presence—fluid, powerful, and vibrant. Through music of extraordinary sensitivity, Vettoretti guides listeners on a journey that flows between the intimate whisper of streams and the overwhelming force of the oceans, evoking the many forms and moods of water.

The Breath of Water is more than a concert: it is an immersive experience, where sound becomes a mirror of nature and a call for reflection. Each piece is conceived to awaken an inner dialogue, offering the audience a chance to reconnect with one of the planet’s most vital elements.

As Ambassador of the Global Network of Water Museums, UNESCO, Andrea Vettoretti has made water the central theme of his artistic and civic commitment. His guitar becomes a voice that celebrates water not only as an inexhaustible source of inspiration but also as a symbol of sustainability and awareness. Every note resonates like a drop, a reminder of our shared responsibility to protect and preserve this essential resource.

With The Breath of Water, La Fenice offers its audience a concert that unites art and ecology, beauty and conscience, in a poetic flow of sound and meaning.
