On December 17, 2025, the Sale Apollinee of the Teatro La Fenice will host the Concert in Benefit of AIL, an event organized by A.GI.MUS – Associazione Giovanile Musicale – as a heartfelt tribute to Alfredo Bianchini. The evening will feature Venetian pianist Letizia Michielon, whose performance will honor both Bianchini’s memory and the mission of AIL (Italian Association against Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma).
AIL plays a crucial role in supporting scientific research aimed at improving treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. Through the funding of innovative studies and laboratories across Italy, the association helps accelerate discoveries and offers vital assistance to patients and families facing these challenging diseases. The concert thus becomes not only a cultural event, but also a gesture of solidarity and commitment to advancing medical research.
In her dedication, Letizia Michielon recalls Alfredo Bianchini as a luminous figure: “Among Alfredo Bianchini’s many talents was his ability to sense and enhance the creative potential of the people he met and his ability to offer each of them help in realizing their dreams. He always encouraged people to look up, to open up to a broader horizon, respectful of interpersonal relationships and social contexts”.
The evening’s program—featuring works by composers particularly dear to Bianchini—seeks to celebrate this spirit. Inspired by his passionate and visionary idea of Venice, Michielon dedicates to him invisible cities: dreams of possible cities. A concert of music, memory, and generosity, this event invites the public to join a cause that harmonizes art with hope.
