Friday, August 23, 2019, nine days before the Historical Regatta, in various points of the city, the historic center, islands and mainland, large self-organized tables will be prepared.
Every family, every citizen will bring food and drinks for themselves and to share them with others. The tables will be free and free in vital places, manned by Venetians. Already in the afternoon, rowing tests can also be done with the champions and champions. The evening will be a moment of information for the whole world of rowing: the rowing companies will promote their athletes and activities and will provide boat seats for September 1; the participating crews will be presented and some of the protagonists will intervene; the sponsors of the racers and the Storica will have the opportunity to explain the good reasons that led them to support the Venetian rowing; movies and photographs will be projected on the history of the regattas, on the 2018 rowing season and on the 2019 regattas and elimination rounds.
The goal is to organize to be many along the Grand Canal to watch the Historical Regatta from the boats and experience a great celebration of the rowing.
