One of the most cultured and profound conductors of his generation, Tito Ceccherini is appreciated for the lucidity of his interpretations and for the marked versatility of his approach to the repertoire.
Acclaimed interpreter of the modern repertoire, he has studied the work of the classics of the 1900s. His operatic repertoire, which in turn highlights his love for the 1900s, also testifies to a profound knowledge of Italian melodrama and a particular attention to bel canto, where he has shown that he knows how to reconcile stylistic properties and modern sensibility. He is also appreciated as a Mozart interpreter and for his talent in creating new works. Conductor with proven experience, he collaborates with orchestras such as the Philharmonique de Radio France, the Filarmonica della Scala, the BBC Symphony and the Philharmonia Orchestra of London, the WDR Sinfonieorchester of Cologne, the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest of Amsterdam, the HR-Sinfonieorchester of Frankfurt, the Bilkent Symphony, the SWR of Stuttgart, the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, the Tokyo Philharmonic, the RAI National Symphony Orchestra, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra, the Teatro La Fenice Orchestra, the Milan Symphony Orchestra “G .Verdi ”, the San Carlo Theater Orchestra, the Rome Opera Theater Orchestra, the Orchester de Chambre de Genève, the OSI of Lugano, the Real Orquesta Sinfonica de Sevilla, the Haydn of Bolzano, the Orchestra of Tuscany.
He has been teaching in Europe and Japan and is a member of the Montegral Academy. At the moment, he holds the chair of conducting and orchestral exercises at the Innsbruck Landeskonservatorium and collaborates with the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.
