A client envisioned a stunning wall installation featuring a recreation of Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic masterpiece, L’Ultima Cena – The Last Supper—widely regarded as one of the most significant mural paintings in history.

To bring this vision to life, we began by pixelating the image to carefully select the color palette. Using the intricate mosaic technique, we meticulously cut 15,000 individual glass squares, each measuring 1×1 cm, to accurately capture the essence of the artwork. Once assembled, the mosaic underwent a high-temperature kiln firing, ensuring durability and vibrancy.

The final composition consists of 25×25 cm glass plates, elegantly mounted on a metal support and enhanced with a backlit LED system. While no replica can truly match Leonardo’s genius, this handcrafted glass interpretation beautifully embodies the spirit of the masterpiece, offering a striking and luminous tribute to the original work.
