A beautiful collection of everyday objects and an original toys collection, between futurism and art déco, are the protagonists of the exhibition “Ca ‘Pisani: il ‘900 ritrovato” (the twentieth century rediscovered) which is hosted by the Ca’Pisani Design Hotel in Venice until 27 August 2019, the first design hotel in Venice.
The exhibition will be divided into two collections: OBJECTS OF DAILY USE BETWEEN FUTURISM AND ART DÉCO recently bought largely by the Serandrei family, and FUTURIST AND NOVECENTO TOYS from the antique dealer and collector Maurizio Marzadori.
The exhibition offers an overview of this important period of decorative arts, displaying a collection of unique objects of daily use and life and toys of refined elegance, good taste and genius, that retrace some of the main currents of the time, including Futurism, Art Déco, Rationalism and Aerodynamics up to the early Fifties.
Location: Ca’Pisani Hotel, Dorsoduro, Venice
Opening: until August 27, 2019
