The concerts of the Guido Alberto Fano Onlus Music Archive resume at the Sale Apollinee of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice and on October 29 the cycle entitled “Novecento storico italiano” begins. The protagonists of the inaugural concert are the cellist Danilo Squitieri and the pianist Enzo Oliva.
Born in 1982, Danilo Squitieri began his musical studies at the age of five. After having made his debut with the victory of the 2nd prize at the “F. Schubert” Competition in Tagliolo Monferrato, he won the 1st prize overall at the National Competitions of Barletta, in Ravenna (“I Giovani per i Giovani” prize), in Scafati (Cidac prize), the “Jacopo Napoli” Prize in Cava de ‘Tirreni, the first prize and the excellence prize at the “B. Santaniello” International Competition.
Enzo Oliva began studying the piano at the age of nine and attended the Conservatory of Music in Campobasso under the guidance of Giuseppe Squitieri. He completed his studies at the Fiesole Music School and at the Haute école de musique de Genève. He has distinguished himself in numerous national and international competitions, and collaborates with famous artists.
