Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in compliance with the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers (DPCM) of Italy, the La Fenice theater will be closed from November 5 to December 3, 2020. The management decided to make changes. In the coming weeks the concerts will be live streaming on the YouTube channel of the theater. Here is the program.

– Sunday, November 15: the Choir of Teatro La Fenice, directed by Claudio Marino Moretti, will perform Alfred Schnittke’s “Requiem”. 

– Saturday, November 21: again under the direction of Claudio Marino Moretti, the Choir of Teatro La Fenice will perform the “Petite Messe Solennelle” by Gioachino Rossini.

– Sunday, November 22: Maestro John Axelrod will conduct the orchestra of Teatro La Fenice in “Symphony n. 6 in B minor, Op. 74, Pathétique” and “Capriccio Italien Op.45” by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
