La Fenice in Piazza San Marco returns with one of the most beloved masterpieces of Italian opera: Pietro Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, performed in concert form on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in the stunning open-air setting of Piazza San Marco.

The performance will feature a world-class cast led by Oksana Dyka as the tormented Santuzza and Mikheil Sheshaberidze as the passionate Turiddu. Franco Vassallo takes the role of Alfio, the betrayed husband, alongside Valeria Girardello as the seductive Lola and Annunziata Vestri as the heartbroken Lucia.
