From September 13 to 21, 2025, the Place of Wonders Foundation and Relais & Châteaux Londra Palace Venice proudly participate in the ninth edition of The Venice Glass Week, the international festival dedicated to celebrating and promoting the art of glass.
In the evocative Salotto Zecchin of Londra Palace Venice, the exhibition “Mano a Mano” will showcase the work of eight young artists—Veronica Paier, Marika Vianello, Anna Schiabel, Licia Previati, Emma Calce, Deborah Marin, Giorgia Caltran, and Alessandra Ronconi—winners of scholarships from The Place of Wonders Foundation. Their original creations, produced during a training program in Murano glass and bead making, embody both the centuries-old Venetian tradition and the innovative spirit of a new generation ready to shape its future.
A special highlight will take place on September 17 at 6:00 pm: a conversation between Andrea Bettini, corporate storyteller and curator of cultural encounters at Londra Palace, and master glassmaker Alessia Fuga, instructor of the lampwork glass courses supported by the Foundation. Free and open to the public (with reservation required), the event will also inaugurate “Golden Hands – Stories of Italian Artisan Beauty”, a new series of meetings dedicated to exploring the meaning of craftsmanship: the relationship with materials, the transmission of knowledge, and the pursuit of beauty.
These initiatives, promoted by Michela Canzi Blanc, president of The Place of Wonders, and Alain Bullo, maître de maison of Londra Palace, reaffirm Venice as a living stage of artistic heritage—where tradition and contemporary creativity meet mano a mano.
