MENT4L feat.Francesco Bearzatti
at La Fenice Opera House

The JAZZ& festival signed by Veneto Jazz is inaugurated in the Sale Apollinee of Teatro La Fenice by the musical group “Ment4l”.

A multicultural group formed by Michelangelo Scandroglio, double bass player from Tuscany, winner of the Tomorrow’s Jazz Award; Mindaugas Stumbras, a Lithuanian guitarist musically grown up in Glasgow; Fergus McCreadie, Scottish pianist who perfectly embodies the tradition of his country with the jazz one; Mattia Galeotti, Tuscan drummer with Swedish mother, also very present in the Italian jazz scene. On stage a special guest: Francesco Bearzatti.

The group proposes an original music that looks at the cultural traditions of the countries of origin. Simple and lyrical melodic ideas, typically folkloristic, that intertwine with intense moments of improvisation where the energy of the group explodes. And Bearzatti’s saxophone blends perfectly adding emphasis to the dynamic shocks of the band.
