A concert in La Fenice Theater
musica con le ali

“Musica con le Ali”, established in Milan on the initiative of Carlo Hruby, was born with a twofold objective: on the one hand, to make the best young talents of classical music “take flight”, offering them important opportunities for professional growth and visibility; on the other hand, to encourage the widespread development of an audience of young listeners: this is in fact the essential condition to give a future to classical music and to enhance one of the most important Italian intangible assets.

At La Fenice theatre Gennaro Cardaropoli (violin), Claudio Laureti (viola), Erica Piccotti (cello) and Margherita Santi (piano) will perform works by Schumann and Brahms.

Gennaro Cardaropoli – He won the 1st Grand Prize at the Arthur Grumiaux International Violin Competition, being the only Italian winner in the history of the competition. Since then he has performed as a soloist with important orchestras of international scope and in prestigious halls such as the Auditorio Nacional de Musica in Madrid and the Musikverein in Vienna among many others.

Claudio Laureti – A young violist, after graduation he has already gained significant experience as a soloist in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Europe.

Erica Piccotti – A young cello talent, already winner of numerous first prizes in national and international competitions. A pupil of Antonio Meneses at the Hochschule der Kunste in Bern and Frans Helmerson at the Kronberg Academy.

Margherita Santi – “Her playing impressed me with fierce personality, brilliant virtuosity. and above all, her originale, distincitive attitude and individual approach. She plays with natural, convincing feel and understanding” R.A.Ostrovsky, Professor at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow.
