120 works from all over the world are the finalists of the 14th edition of the contest, giving a glimpse into the current state of international contemporary art.

The exhibition is curated by Igor Zanti with the collaboration of eight international jurors who evaluated all the applications that were submitted to the contest between September and December 2019: Iwona Blazwick, Karel Boonzaaijer, Valentino Catricalà, Aldo Cibic, Erin Dziedzic, Zhao Li, Riccardo Passoni, Vasili Tsereteli. 

The exhibition takes place in the prestigious spaces of the Arsenale of Venice and includes 30 works of painting, 25 sculptures and installations, 25 works of photographic art, 10 videos, 5 environmental art projects, 5 urban art projects, 5 virtual art works, 5 digital graphics, 5 design proposals and 5 performances.

The inauguration and the award ceremony will be held on Saturday 21 March 2020 from 5 pm. During the evening the finalists will perform live and the four absolute winners will be announced, awarded with money for a total amount of 40,000 euros, and the winners of the 13 special prizes, organized with international partners: exhibitions in international art galleries, collaborations with companies, art residences, international festivals.
