Extraordinary concert on the occasion of 40 years of activity of the “Quartetto Venezia”. This is a group that stands out in the varied and vast European musical field. The perfect technical mastery and the power of their performances, characterized by the push towards an absolute value of themselves as true performers, place the “Quartet of Venice” at the top of their category and among the very few worthy of taking over the role of the great quartets of the past.

The Quartetto Venezia has played in important venues and festivals in Italy and around the world and collaborates with world-famous artists. Since 2017 it is the “quartet in residence” of the Giorgio Cini Foundation.

The members of the Venice Quartet are:

  • Violin I, Andrea Vio
  • Violin II, Alberto Battiston
  • Viola, Mario Paladin
  • Cello, Angelo Zanin
