Music director of the Bergamo Donizetti Opera Festival since 2017, Riccardo Frizza is regularly engaged in the most musical institutions and festivals around the world. The love for the Italian repertoire has led him to the podium of major international theaters, including Scala in Milan, Opéra National de Paris, Chicago Opera, San Francisco Opera, Metropolitan of New York and Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. The intelligent and sensitive symphonic conducting has consecrated him among the best conductors of his generation.

Accompanied on piano by Elia Cecino, Riccardo Frizza conducts the Teatro La Fenice orchestra on February 5 and 6, 2022 at the Teatro Malibran.

The program includes:

  • Fryderyk Chopin, Piano concerto No 1, Op.11
  • Robert Schumann, Symphony No.3 in E flat major Op.97 Rhenish
