From October 2 to 5, 2025, the iconic Arsenale of Venice will once again open its doors to host the Salone dell’Alto Artigianato Italiano (Italian Fine Crafts Fair), an event now in its third edition and already a reference point for Italian excellence. Promoted by the City of Venice and organized by Vela S.p.A., the Salone celebrates the extraordinary richness of Italian craftsmanship, between tradition and innovation, in one of the most evocative historical settings in the world.
This year, the Salone welcomes around 160 exhibitors, including over 40 Venetian artisans, representing the cultural and regional diversity of Italy. From ceramics to fine fabrics, blown glass to jewelry, designer furniture to sculpture, visitors will be able not only to admire and purchase unique artifacts, but also to meet the artisans, discover their stories, and observe their creative processes.
The exhibition expands further in 2025: alongside the Tese delle Nappe and Tese di San Cristoforo, the Arsenale’s Tesa 100 will debut as a new space dedicated to dialogue between craftsmanship and imagination, while Tesa 113 will host special projects by Muve Academy, developed with schools and cultural institutions to link tradition with the education of new generations.
Mayor Luigi Brugnaro emphasizes: “The Salone dell’Alto Artigianato is not just a trade fair, but a living narrative of history and territories. Venice is once again the beating heart of Italian artisan excellence”.
With more than 90 live demonstrations, the 2025 edition promises an immersive journey through timeless gestures, revealing the beauty and vitality of Italian know-how.
