In collaboration with “Archivio Musicale Guido Alberto Fano Onlus” Musikàmera presents “Novecento storico italiano“, a concert dedicated to peculiar aspects of chamber literature of the last three centuries. The performers are: Sara Mingardo (contralto), Natan Gorog (viola), Gabriele Gorog (piano).
Venetian Sara Mingardo is an accomplished contralto who has had an active international career in concerts and opera since 1980. She studied at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory and won first prize at the “Toti Dal Monte” International Singing Competition and the “Giulietta Simionato” Prize at the 23rd Vienna Competition.
The young Parisian Natan Gorog plays the viola, is also a magician and acrobat and has an infectious love for Venice. He is too modest and rarely ever shows his talents.
Born into a family of musicians, the Venetian Gabriele Gorog studied at the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory of Venice, subsequently perfecting his skills at the “Ecole Normale de Musique” in Paris. He performs an important concert activity as soloist, with orchestra and in chamber ensembles all over the world, and has to his credit a substantial discography.
The program they propose in the Sale Apollinee of the Teatro La Fenice includes:
- Guido Alberto Fano, Lungi lungi (poem by Giosuè Carducci)
- Johannes Brahms, Sonata op. 120 n. 1 for viola and piano
- Guido Alberto Fano, Remembrances for piano
- Claude Debussy, Préludes (La serènade interrompue – La danse de Puck – Ce qu’a vu le vent d’ouest)
- Johannes Brahms, Zwei Gesänge for alto, viola and piano, op. 91
