Besides the young age, Trio Chagall has been grabbing the attention of the classical music field thanks to its recent achievements at “Trio di Trieste” Prize, where the Trio has been awarded with the Second Prize (First Prize not assigned), the “Dario de Rosa” special award for the best Shumann’s interpretation, the “Fernanda Selvaggio” special award as best trio in the competition and the “Young award” as most promising ensemble.
The Trio Chagall is composed of Edoardo Grieco violin, Francesco Massimino cello and Lorenzo Nguyen piano.
The program includes the works of Franz Joseph Haydn (Trio in E minor Hob. XV n. 1), Dmitri Šostakóvič (Trio n. 1 in C minor op. 8) and Johannes Brahms (Trio in B major op. 8).
