With the support of “Musica con le ali“, an association that supports and promotes initiatives in the field of music, with particular regard to young people and classical music, in the Sale Apollinee of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice on Thursday, May 19, 2022 there will be a concert by Valentina Ciardelli and Anna Astesano with works by Ravel, Puccini, Ciardelli.
Valentina Ciardelli is a double bass player and Italian composer, already winner of numerous international competitions including a Global Music Award and the BBC Music Magazine Rising Star 2020. Eclectic musician who pursues an exploratory approach of the instrument aimed at expanding the usual boundaries of its solo repertoire.
A student of Fabrice Pierre and Gabriella Dall’Olio, harpist Anna Astesano has won numerous national and international awards. She has collaborated with major orchestras such as the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino among many others.
