A concert with cellist Tatjana Vassiljeva and pianist Anna Gourari will be held in the “Apollinee Halls” of the La Fenice theater on Sunday 15 March. The program includes works by Robert Schumann, Franz Schubert and Dmitry Shostakovich.
TATJANA VASSILJEVA. Described as a ‘phenomenon’, internationally acclaimed cellist Tatjana Vassiljeva’s ‘spellbinding virtuosity’ (The Telegraph) and irresistible range of sonorities are supremely matched by the strength of her musical personality and ideas and her ability to communicate them.
ANNA GOURARI. She received her first piano education at the age of five from her parents, professors at Kazan Academy of Music. In 1979 she performed her first public concert. From that year onwards she studied at further renowned piano schools and with famous piano tutors. In 1990 she relocated together with her parents to Germany in order to study at the ‘Hochschule für Musik’ with Ludwig Hoffmann in Munich.
