From October 20 to 26, 2025, Venice will once again become the stage for Venice Fashion Week, the conscious fashion event now in its twelfth edition. Conceived by Venezia da Vivere and part of the Grandi Eventi of the City of Venice, this unique week celebrates Made in Italy, high-quality craftsmanship, and a new generation of designers shaping the future of sustainable fashion.
This year’s theme, Craft Economy, highlights a vision of fashion rooted in local traditions yet oriented toward the future: small-scale production, ethical values, respect for the environment, and innovation through craftsmanship. At a time when the very idea of luxury is being redefined, Venice Fashion Week confirms itself as an observatory for the future of fashion and design.
The program spans the city’s historic palaces, artisan workshops, furnaces, galleries, and ateliers, creating a cultural ecosystem where artisans, artists, designers, and businesses come together. Events include fashion shows, exhibitions, talks, and open ateliers, all designed to showcase emerging talents, promote sustainable excellence, and connect international audiences with the creativity of the Veneto region.
The 2025 edition is co-organized with Upskill 4.0, a spin-off of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, which supports companies in growth and digital transformation. Sponsored by the Tavolo Veneto della Moda and the Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte, the event also features a poster created by artist and illustrator Jacopo Ascari.
