The highly anticipated Grand Prix of the City of Venice will return on October 17, giving participants and spectators great emotions because it is the only regatta that takes place in the inland waters of one of the most famous cities in the world, the Serenissima.
Sportiness, luxury and lifestyle are the reference worlds of this competition which will see the participation of maxi yachts that have signed unforgettable pages in the history of sailing combined with as many famous realities of Venetian high-end hotels. The teams, led by internationally renowned skippers, will take to the race course to compete for the coveted hat of the doge, specially made by Massimiliano Schiavon, the historic Murano glass factory. As always, the event is organized by the Venice Yacht Club and the boats hosted at the Marina Sant’Elena.

The start of the regatta is scheduled on Saturday 17 October and the fleet will be the Marina San’Elena while the San Marco basin, the focal point of the route, will allow the public to follow a spectacular competition from the shores in the frame of the city more beautiful in the world.
