The Auditorium “Lo Squero” of the Cini Foundation is a truly unique location for music lovers. Worth going to listen to a concert, just to enjoy the feeling that this place is able to transmit. The concert season 2019 offers a list of concerts dedicated among others to Prokofiev, Stravinsky, Mozart, Haydn, Schumann, Brahms, Beethoven, Bach.
In addition to the cycle organized in collaboration with Asolo Musica, which will present a new series of concerts (including a new series by Mario Brunello and the Quartetto di Venezia), next season will see the start of the collaboration with Le Dimore del Quartetto, Associazione Gioventù Musicale d’Italia, and Accademia Walter Stauffer (Cycle of concerts ARCHIPELAGO) and with the Association Chamber Music – Premio Trieste.
Among the most interesting innovations, it is worth mentioning the collaboration with Antiruggine, the cultural laboratory created by Mario Brunello that for over ten years has promoted an idea of culture, transversal to many disciplines, with more than 300 evenings realized, mainly dedicated to music, but also literature, theater, architecture, cinema, sport, high artistic craftsmanship, with artists and characters that Mario Brunello has crossed in his activity.
The Auditorium “Lo Squero” on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore is the old workshop at one time in charge of the repair of vessels and subsequently transformed into a modern and impressive auditorium, thanks to the intervention of architects and Cattaruzza and Millosevich and with the contribution of Provveditorato Interregionale per le Opere Pubbliche del Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige, Friuli Venezia Giulia and the Fondazione Virginio Bruni Tedeschi.
