On Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, there is a special event in the Sale Apollinee of La Fenice Theater: “Prestami una poesia“, a poetry reading by Dario Meneghetti.
The former tenor in the La Fenice Theater chorus has ALS and continued to sing as long as the disease allowed him to. True, his voice is now gone, but he has moved on from music to poetry. Dario chose to live: “Now I write poetry for life“.
For the poetry reading, the voices will be Valeria Arrivo, Giuseppe Barutti, Emiliano Esposito, Salvatore Giacalone, Manuela Marchetto, while on cello Giuseppe Barutti and Antonino Puliafito, on piano Raffaele Centurioni and Bernardino Zanetti.
Admission is free, and proceeds will be donated to the “Dario Meneghetti for Sla” association.
