For “Venezia in Danza” under the artistic direction of Michela Barasciutti, “InCompany Bach/Beethoven Evening” featuring choreographer Emanuele Soavi and his ensemble who continue their artistic collaboration with electronic composer Wolfgang Voigt and sound designer Stefan Bohne, in co-production with Oper Köln, Duisburger Philharmoniker and TanzFaktur Köln, goes on stage Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Malibran Theater.

Bach and Beethoven’s tireless drive for artistic renewal lends a seemingly inexhaustible energy. The dancers on stage are also exposed to this energy of constant change and undertake a search for what they are and what they want to become.

The cast includes Federico Casadei, Lisa Kirsch, Giacomo Luci, Taeyeon Kim, Nimrod Poles, Mihyun Ko and Lorenzo Molinaro (dance artists), Darko Petrovic and Heike Engelbert (stage design and costumes), Miriam Leysner (project coordinator), Achim Conrad and Alexandra Schmidt (production management).
