Conductor Markus Stenz gives two concerts featuring works by Mendelssohn, Mozart and Schumann at the Malibran Theater on March 12 and 13, 2022
Markus Stenz is a German conductor. Since 2012 he has been the principal conductor of the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest in the Netherlands and since the season 2015/16 he has been the principal guest conductor of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Since 2017 he has also been Residential Conductor with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. Previously he was Kapellmeister of the Gürzenich Orchestra in Cologne for eleven years. He is known for his brilliant and masterful musical interpretations with a particular passion for German orchestral music pieces.
