Women for Freedom in Jazz 2022

A well-established and long-awaited event, “Women for Freedom in Jazz 2022” is the Venetian summer marathon of concerts and solidarity in support of the humanitarian organization “Women for Freedom“, conceived and organized by Elena Ferrarese on the “Top of the Carlton Sky Lounge“, the splendid panoramic terrace of the Hotel Carlton on the Grand Canal in Venice.

The sixth edition, which will be held every Thursday at 8:30 p.m. from July 7 to September 8, 2022, will bring a breath of freshness, originality and novelty compared to previous years, starting with the collaboration with Caligola Music for the opening and closing concerts.

Thanks to the collaboration with the humanitarian organization “Women for Freedom” and the City of Venice, the 12 talented artists, accompanied by equally talented musicians, will perform to give a voice to women and their children in distress around the world. Proceeds from this edition’s offerings will go to the “Trampolin” project, which is an emergency project in Bolivia that aims to help girls who are victims of trafficking and exploitation in order to relocate them into the social fabric.
