“Gondola” is a boat-shaped centerpiece performed with the mosaic technique using opaque and transparent Murano glass, entirely handmade. Very small pieces of multicolored glass squares or colored opaque glass rods are meticulously cut and joined together. The color combinations are sometimes mixed with gold or silver leaf or with aventurine glass or with Venetian murrina beads or with colored filigree.
